Description:
At 105, W'can is doing much better than his weyrmate R'ki in the hair department. His silver hair is short enough to fit under his riding helmet but just bushy enough to stick out in all directions, including several strands hanging constantly in his eyes. His face a tableau of wrinkles cheeks cascading to meet his chin, forehead to his eyebrows. If those things above his eyes could be considered eyebrows, fuzzy things sulking there, one over each green eye, looking for all the world like two dead caterpillars. He is quite lame in his left leg so he limps around and it takes him a while to get anywhere.
Personality:
Usually he uses Cadonith if he wants to get from one end of the Weyr to the other to save time, otherwise it would take him almost until lunch time just to get to the other side of the Weyrbowl. Especially as he frequently stops to take a rest, and sometimes falls asleep when he is resting.
Despite this hindrance however he is still very active and can be seen limping his way around the Weyr at almost all hours, having the insomnia common to many old people. He has a tendency to chuckle and mutter to himself, and loves to hear jokes and stories. This makes him an excellent companion for R'ki, who loves to tell them.
W'can has no opinion about the up-coming rebellion. He has no mind for it and not interested in who is on which side. All he knows is eventually it will end and there will be a Weyrwoman and the Weyr will continue. As they do not fight Thread any longer, he feels they have earned their rest and simply wants to be left alone.
History:
Everyone is fairly sure he was born in the Weyr, or at least near it, although he might have been born in one of the Holds. Truth be told, no one is sure of his history for he has been around as long as anyone here can remember. Even if asked, W'can just chuckles and pats the questioner muttering something about old age finally catching up to him.
For those who remember - the few and far between and possibly only R'ki these days - when W'can and Cadonith were younger they were excellent Thread fighters, their stamina matching those of any brown rider and were set in the mid-altitude Flight for their endurance and agility combined. Deadly and accurate, the worst of the scores on the blue's hide came from someone else's mistake.

His left hindquarters and tail are littered with scars; some of them are Threadscore and some from a wild feline he tangled with in his mid-fifties. Although W'can swears Cadonith was larger when he was younger, the dragon is still big for a blue, his wing span wider.

He can scarcely fly anymore. Not doing much more than gliding here and there. Usually he goes between if he wants to get anywhere. The last time he rose to chase a female, was when he caught Green Nathoreth when W'can was seventy-three.
Muddling around in the weyr seems to be his favorite past time; although he loves to lay in the sun anywhere he pleases. Occasionally he will just forget to fly up the weyr and flop in the middle of the Weyrbowl, as passed out as his rider. To make matters worse, the great blue lump snores if he is not sleeping on his furs.
Quite hard to get anything accomplished with a big blue dragon passed out in the middle of the Weyrbowl, but he is accommodating of children and lets them crawl on him if they want.
